At the Western PA School for the Deaf, her white classmates tried to rub off her blackness. While at Gallaudet University, she tried out for the football team! Despite being born the 16th of 17 children to parents who didn’t believe in the importance of education, Nathie was able to earn a bachelor’s and two masters’ degrees. This full length documentary DVD is filled with stories and observations and rich with humor and insights on the human condition.<\/p>\n
