TSD Wrestling Team Honoring<\/strong><\/p>\n

The students of Texas School for the Deaf at Austin, TX celebrated in a new
\nfashion that the committee of the National Deaf Interscholastic Athletic
\nAssociation (NDIAA) has voted Texas School for the Deaf as the \u201cNational
\nWrestling Co-Championship Team\u201d along with Maryland School for the Deaf.<\/p>\n

TSD and MSSD are the large deaf schools for the enrollment of students in
\nthe United States.<\/p>\n

The committee is comprised of coaches and athletic directors from the deaf
\nschools in America.<\/p>\n

Phenomenal Brian Laird who is a young terrific deaf coach that has led his
\nwrestling team to the national level power and also being recognized by the
\nTexas TAPPS as a classic team. The NDIAA committee has voted Laird to
\nreceive an award of \u201cNational Coach of the Year 2010\u201d.<\/p>\n

152-lb. wrestler Adrian Barajas of TSD has been named by the NDIAA one of
\nthe best wrestlers in America and will receive a \u201cNational Wrestler of the
\nYear\u201d award.<\/p>\n

Let every one of us in Texas applaud the deaf wrestling team and Coach Laird
\nfor their most remarkable athletic program TSD has ever had.<\/p>\n
