A student at the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin has been accused of sexual assault and fled to Mexico, according to Austin police investigators. <\/p>\n

Detectives say Alehandro Bustos, 19, assaulted a fellow student in November. According to court documents, the victim told police that Bustos asked her to meet him in the school’s library after the day’s classes, but when she got there he started to fondle her. Police say she tried to walk away, but he grabbed her and forced her into an isolated stairwell where he allegedly assaulted her. <\/p>\n

The victim tried to call for help, but she said that most of the students can’t hear, so no one heard her cries. <\/p>\n

Police interviewed Bustos at the end of November, and the next day he had disappeared. <\/p>\n

“His parents were contacted in Houston and they told us, because of the case, he had fled out of the country,” said Detective Scott Stanfield, APD. <\/p>\n

Bustos is charged with sexual assault, which is a 2nd degree felony. Bond was set at $20,000. <\/p>\n
