Looking for a few good Hands – Austin

LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD HANDS!!!

On Saturday, Sept 9th there will be a Deaf and Hard of Hearing festival at Fiesta Garden. Most every agency that works with Deaf and Hard of Hearing are playing a part in this festival. AID is asking our membership and supporters who are certified to help in providing volunteer interpreting services for a couple hours on that day. right now we are looking at 11:30am – 1:30pm they will have a stage and announcements will be given ongoing during that time. More needs maybe requested as the date gets closer.

Again, we are looking for Certified interpreters that would be willing to take advantage of this great opportunity to give back. TCSDHH has been working on this for a while. The vision is that this event will bring the Deaf community together. The purpose of this event is NOT to raise money. TCSDHH wants as much participation from agencies, organizations, and
companies as possible.

If you can give some time.. please email me at [email protected] this will be alot of fun .. please join us!
