DAWCAS was funded for 3 new positions, and we are expanding our services to the San Antonio area and surrounding counties.
DAWCAS has experienced a large increase in requests for assistance for deaf and hard of hearing victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. As a result, we are working on other projects with various communities that we hope will result in additional funding to allow us eventually to serve the whole state of Texas, via satellite offices.
