Project Distance Education in the Education of the Deaf (Project DEED) will allow trainees throughout the country to take all required courses for deaf education certification in a distance education (DE) format. Each year, we fund a cadre of 10-15 well-qualified individuals to obtain teacher certification in the field of Deaf Education.
Teachers who are minority, disabled, and/or deaf trainees (even if they are receiving some support from the vocational rehabilitation agency in their state) from across the U. S. are encouraged to apply.
