Hello,
I am a local Austin independent associate for the insurance company “AFLAC”, in search of new associates to add to my team. To the best of my knowledge, we have not yet hired or employed a “challenged” individual, of any type, as an independent sales associate. I do not in fact know if a deaf person is able to enter the work force as a sales person, but if so, we would be open to consider this option.
In addition, perhaps you might know of other challenged organizations in Austin that have individuals who are able to persue a career in sales, to whom you might refer me? The career option is well described at
http://www.aflac.com/us/en/careers/becomingbenefitsspecialist.aspx
becoming an independent sales associate.
If you’d like to communicate on the phone, yor are most welcome to email me and we may arrange for this (I have no experience with deaf individuals, this would be a first for me, but I’m quite open to learning, if you’ll give me an opportunity to do so.)
