Since DAD is now being revitalized, honors will be bestowed on all individuals who are the oldest members; as well as, past presidents, for their many efforts and endeavors that they have made to establish the Dallas Association of the Deaf since the property was purchased in 1973. They all will be encouraged to attend this event.

This special event is being held also to enhance views of parents of Deaf children about the future of their children who may some day enroll at the Gallaudet University, the only liberal arts school in the world for students who are Deaf/hard of hearing, in Washington, D.C., or other colleges, such as, National Technical Institute of the Deaf, Rochester, NY
