DEAF ACTION CENTER HIRES NEW SENIOR CENTER MANAGER!
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Trina Whitlock and I am
the NEW Senior Center Manager at Deaf Action Center in Dallas. I
recently moved to Dallas after living in Fort Worth for 4 years. I am
very happy to be here at DAC and am excited about the new adventure
that awaits me in working with Senior Citizens in the Dallas/Fort
Worth area! As part of DAC’s winter celebrations, I want to remind
all senior citizens about the Holiday Luncheon on Wednesday, December
12th at the Cotton Patch Cafe in Grapevine. You will pay for your
lunch. When lunch is over, we will travel a short distance to the
Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine to view the holiday lights (free
admission).
If you want to tour the ice sculptures, there is an admission fee to
enter that. We also invite all Senior Citizens to the Holiday Party
on Wednesday, December 19th. Each senior can sign up to bring a dish
and bring a “white elephant gift” for our gift exchange game.
December is full of activities for our Senior Citizens, so please
contact me for more information! If you need to know more about cost,
transportation, etc., for the 12th and 19th, please contact me asap.
