ASL Staff Interpreter- (part time – 20 hours/weekly) $18,500 YR
The ASL Staff Interpreter is responsible for providing advanced,
confidential interpreting services within the agency which may
include meetings, trainings, etc. The ASL Staff Interpreter may have
opportunities to broaden work experience beyond interpreting as time
allows, including but not limited to providing assistance with
written communications in English, developing informational materials
on topics related to interpreters and working with individuals who are
Deaf, and offering ASL classes to agency staff.
REQUIREMENTS: At least three years of professional interpreting
experience, must have Level III, prefer IV or V. Excellent writing
and organizational skills and ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook
software programs.
