Living Meditation – an introduction
10am – 4pm, @ the Amala Foundation
This one day intensive will focus on the power of your thoughts and
the importance of living meditation. There will be handouts,
lecturing and practical exercises to give you the necessary tools to
establish a meditation practice in your home. Topics discussed will
include the 12 steps to meditation, importance of an altar, the 5
stages of the mind and the several meditation techniques.
Feel free to bring pen, paper and your desire to learn. Certified
interpreters provided. Please feel free to bring a sack lunch or
veggie dish to pass for a community lunch. (not required) RSVP

First session – January 17 ~ 7pm to 9pm
Asana Beginners Series – Hatha Yoga (a 4-week series)
This 4-week Asana Beginners Series will focus on introducing you to
Sivananda Hatha Yoga. This series will focus on asana (poses),
breathing exercises and deep relaxation. This is the perfect way to
begin to incorporate yoga into your daily life and create a life of
health and vitality. This series will be Signed & Spoken. Suggested

Ongoing Hatha Yoga Classes
Come and explore Hatha Yoga with Lila Lolling. Classes are Signed and
Spoken and offered by donation only. Open to all experience levels.
