GREETINGS from the DSA-Deaf Studies Association!
This announcement is to let you know of the upcoming Deaf Awareness
Day (DAD) that will take place at the Austin Community College
Riverside Campus on Saturday April 5th!
The ACC-Deaf Studies Association (DSA), which is an recognized
student organization with the Student Life Office at ACC, is
sponsoring this exciting event for the first time. Wed like to
invite you and/or your organization to sign up for an Exhibit Booth
at this event. We anticipate more than 200+ Deaf, Hard of Hearing,
Deaf-Blind, Elderly Deaf and Hearing individuals, Families, Friends,
Educators and Social Services Agencies will participate.
If YOU are interested in exploring college transfer classes or career
training opportunities at ACC, come join other prospective students
from the Texas School for the Deaf and the Central Texas Regional Day
School Programs for the Deaf at our Deaf Open House. Campus Tours and
Presentations will give you a hands-on overview of our Deaf ESOL &
other exciting programs at ACC.
The Deaf Studies Association will also perform a totally new Fifth
Annual Deaf Monologues Play that afternoon at 4:00 pm in the Bldg.
G-81111 Auditorium.
The DAD Booth Registration Form is attached, and encourage you to
sign up by the February 29th Early Bird Deadline.
