VSA arts of Texas is pleased to announce the first in a series of
workshops on self-supporting employment opportunities for people with
disabilities. This workshop is designed for artists or anyone with a
disability trying to go to work or start a business. Individuals with
disabilities, family members, advocates, DARS Counselors, and private
rehabilitation and community service organizations are invited to
attend. Get answers to the following questions:

* What are disability benefits?

* What is the definition of disability?

* What are the eligibility requirements?

* What happens when you go to work or start a business?

This workshop will be led by Daniel Scarborough of the National PASS
Network. Mr. Scarborough brings more than 25 years of grassroots
disability benefit advocacy to this powerful workshop.
