The Deaf Action Center will host the 10th annual Teen Leadership
Summit for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Girls April 17, 2008 at the
Women’s Museum Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. Our theme this year is
“Tonight’s Dream Can Be Tomorrow’s Reality.” If you know of a girl who
is deaf or hard of hearing in the 7th-12th grade who would like to
attend please contact us at [email protected]
. The cost to attend is $25.00 per girl. Scholarships are available.
We are also looking for women who are deaf and hard of hearing who
are pursuing their dreams to be role models and mentors to the girls
for the day. If you are such a woman and would enjoy mentoring a young
