Volunteer Interpreter Needed – Northeast San Antonio Relay For Life
DATE: May 17, 2008
TIME: 6pm – 10pm
ADDRESS:
Blossom Athletic Center
San Antonio, Texas
WEBSITE: http://events.cancer.org/rflnesanantoniotx
We are in need of someone who could interpret our critical cancer
messages and ceremonial information to a few of our attending
participants, probably children, who are either deaf or audibly
challenged, at our very large Northeast San Antonio Relay For Life to
be held at the Blossom Athletic Center’s soccer fields. The opening
ceremonies and survivor’s celebration will begin around 6pm and end
around 10pm following a very moving Luminaria
s and volunteers would greatly enhance our ability to raise cancer
awareness, show our respect for cancer survivorship, and motivate
others to fight back against cancer beyond the event. If anyone is
interested, please contact Bert Pickell, American Cancer Society
community manager at (210) 273-7983 or Northeast SA Relay For Life
volunteer Tara Kirkpatrick at (210) 288-1673.
