Deaf and hard of hearing youths wanted for quality of life research
project- will pay $25 for 1-hour interview

The Seattle Quality of Life Group wants to find out about the quality
of life of children and youth who are deaf and hard of hearing. We are
looking for:
• Youth ages 11-18 years who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing,
especially from Spanish speaking homes
• Parents of Deaf or Hard of Hearing Children ages 5-10 years,
especially from Spanish speaking homes.
Participating in a research study is voluntary. Everything you tell
us will be kept confidential. This research project involves
interviewing for about 60 minute through videophone for ASL/PSE users
or video relay service for English/Spanish users.
If you participate in this study, you will get $25 for 1-hour
interview. You can contact a research staff by email or phone to set
