Hi Guys,
In June we had a wonderful training experience with Harris County
Sheriffs Dept! The Deaf Community and the officers each learned a lot
from the other! Many deaf share their experiences with officers.
ON Tues August 12, 2008, from 10:00 to 1:00, Houston Police
Department will be at HCIL- Houston Center for Independent Living,6201
Bonhomme Rd # 150S Houston, TX 77036
HPD will listen to your experiences and talk about their policies on
working with Deaf people. This is a great time to bridge communication
between the Deaf community and Houston Police Department.
