A Message from the DAD President –
Hello DAD Members and Friends,
Since I am still in WI, my husband, Preston, and I have been
videophoning each other quite often. Every time I see him from DAD’s
vp, his face was filthy. He explained that he has been busy finishing
up the renovations to the DAD restrooms and putting the tiles on the
floor. When I go back to DAD, I know it’s going feel like I am
entering a whole new clubhouse. I hope you readers will take the time,
one night to visit us.
The Winter Holiday for the Children committee will be serving
lasagna, salad, bread and strawberry shortcake, Saturday, August 2nd,
during the final TX Hold’em Championship Tournament. Come and watch
who shall capture the “crown”. The doors will open at 3:00pm.
I most certainly hope to see you all during our next General Members
meeting. Friday evening, August 15th, at 7:30pm.
Last month’s family night movie, “Pursuit for Happiness” has drawn a
few more attendances. I hope to see this program expands some more.
Come to the next Family Night at the Movies and watch the next movie
with us on August 29 at 7:30PM.
