October 2008 Catholic Deaf Community Mass:
The Catholic Deaf Ministry Program for the Diocese of Fort Worth will
celebrate its October Deaf Community Mass on Sunday October 5, 2008 at
1:45 PM at San Mateo (Mission) Catholic Church, 3304 Lovell Ave. Fort
Worth, TX 76107. (see http://www.fwdioc.org
for a map and directions) This is a new church and a new time, so
please make note of the change. Look for signs and friendly faces to
help you find the church. Parking is available on the street or in the
parking lots across from the church office. Fr. Ken Robinson will be
with the community once again, to celebrate mass in voice and sign.
Unfortunately, we will not have CART available this month, but are
working on providing it in the near future.
Members of the choir will meet at 1:00-1:30 in the parish hall to
practice for mass; everyone is invited to join!
Please arrive early and plan to stay after mass for a community
social. There will be hot dogs and chips for sale, and free cookies
and lemonade after mass in the parish hall. Information concerning
upcoming Deaf Ministry activities will be available. Contact Mary
