Hello Everyone!
I am very excited about DAD’s Annual Awards Night on Saturday,
November 1, 2008!
There are several reasons for the excitement! Of course, to show off
the “new” DAD. Do come and see our newly remodeled DAD if you have not
seen it yet. If you have, do come and show appreciation to the several
individuals who gave up many many hours of hard work to make the DAD
more beautiful and ‘deaf friendly’.
Our keynote speaker is Dr. Angel Ramos. He had helped a lot of people
here in the city of Dallas when he was living here. It was a very
positive experience. Several organizations were established because of
Dr. Ramos’ generous help. Come see him give his speech!
and also Brain Brizendine will be our Master of Ceremonies. He hails
from Maryland. One of the funniest guys that will make you laugh!
There will be several awards given to certain people for their
generous work, time & etc.
Appetizers will be served from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Do come and show your support to the Deaf club by attending this
special evening. We have helped many organizations and committees by
allowing them to use our clubhouse for many functions. We would love
to see you at our special event Nov. 1st.
Tickets are on sale now until October 25 @$15 per person. At the
door, $20.00
