The Human Relations Commission meeting will take place, Tuesday,
February 24, 2009, at 5:30 PM in the Pre-Council Chamber on the 2nd
Floor of Fort Worth City Hall. This is the first meeting since the
City Council passed the resolution pertaining to the deaf and hard of
hearing community, which is on the attached agenda (see below) to be
discussed. This is an important meeting for members of the deaf
community to attend and learn how the resolution will be applied
throughout the city departments.
Remind those who plan to attend the Commission meeting to contact
City Hall to request sign language interpreter and CART services.
Contacting City Hall in this way helps to build their awareness about
the deaf and hard of hearing community.
Thank you,
Tracey Michol
