March Catholic Deaf Community Mass
The Catholic Deaf Ministry Program for the Diocese of Fort Worth will
celebrate its March Deaf Community Mass on Sunday March 1, 2009 at
1:45 PM at San Mateo (Mission) Catholic Church, 3304 Lovell Ave. Fort
Worth, TX 76107. (see www.fwdioc.org for a map and directions) Fr. Ken
Robinson will be with the community once again, to celebrate mass in
voice and sign. Unfortunately, we will not have CART available this
month, but will have printed materials for non-signing deaf persons to
use and follow-along.
Members of the choir will meet at 1:00-1:30 in the parish hall to
practice for mass; everyone is invited to join!
Parking is available on the streets around the church.
Please arrive early and plan to stay after mass for a community
social. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day this month, there will be
potato soup and Irish scones available for sale. We will also have
free drinks and cookies after mass for everyone! Information
concerning upcoming Deaf Ministry Lenten and Easter activities will be
