RIO is a contracting company that specializes in engineering, construction management, and project development as well as operating the Visitor Center at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (where your paper currency is produced) right here in Fort Worth, Texas. As an organization that staffs certified Sign Language Interpreters, RIO has recognized the need for local workshops that provide CEUs.

informative workshop that will guide you through
the principles and behaviors of RID’s Code of
Professional Conduct. This workshop will engage
you in skill-building group activities and learning
helpful techniques to prepare you for today’s
challenging work environments. Feel free to ask
questions and gain feedback from presenters and
fellow participants in this insightful program.
State of Texas Level III and Level IV seasoned professional interpreters, Kelly Bothel and Alaina Webb use cutting-edge technology to assist the deaf as video relay interpreters for Sorenson Communications. They also actively mentor and support other interpreters as they prepare for state and national tests. Together, Kelly and Alaina have developed and presented various workshops that focus on interpreter ethics, interpreting skills and other rograms geared toward equipping and empowering interpreters in their field. Workshops also presented by Kelly and Alaina cover a variety of topics including: “Code of Professional Conduct in the Classroom”, “A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Words” and
“The Art of Imagery in Interpreting.”
