Wanted: Kind, intelligent individual needed to provide sister to
sister mentoring while serving as an Intervenor/assistant for a
pleasant, deaf-blind disabled 18 year old young lady. Needs to be able
to sign using “S.E.E.” or willing to learn as well as signing
tactilely (signing in her hand) OR be able to learn. Client is willing
to learn and incorporate ASL to make the match a good fit. Applicant
will be assisting the client with volunteer work in an office-type
setting as well as some recreational outings.
8 week summer schedule with day time, negotiable hours. Hours beyond
the summer may be negotiated.
