The Z™ Introduces 888-888-1116, Making It Even Easier To Use VRS

CLEARWATER, Fla. [June 9, 2009] — Hearing, deaf and hard of hearing
customers who use ZVRS.TV or CSDVRS.TV for video relay services (VRS)
now have the option of connecting through an 800 number. Effective
immediately, callers using VP200s in both public and private settings
can simply dial 888-888-1116.

The Z™, the country’s leading VRS innovator, has responded to a
desire for an easier way to link to ZVRS.TV and CSDVRS.TV,
particularly when using public videophones. Callers who find it
cumbersome to manually enter an alphabetic address can now use the
numeric alternative.

“Feedback revealed that many VRS callers preferred the ease of
dialing numbers rather than typing out letters,” said Tim Rarus,
CSDVRS vice president of sales. He emphasized, however, that the new
toll-free number does not replace the ZVRS.TV or CSDVRS.TV addresses.
“It merely provides another option for our customers,” Rarus said.

Those who have ZVRS.TV or CSDVRS.TV stored in their videophone do not
need to make any changes to their address book, because callers may
continue to connect to using either of the alphabetic addresses on
both public and private videophones.
