Millington joins Jones

Lang LaSalle in Fort Worth

His new job: Gary Millington joined Jones Lang LaSalle as a vice president
of property management. Millington will lead property management in Fort
Worth and will work closely with Greg Grainger to grow the firm’s property
management capabilities in the region. The firm currently manages and/or
leases about 14.5 million square feet in the region.

Demonstrating immediate traction, Millington will lead the property
management efforts at the firm’s newest leasing and management assignment,
550 N. Bailey Ave. in West Fort Worth, a seven-floor, Class A office
building owned by Goff Capital.

His background: Millington has been in the commercial real estate industry
specializing in property management for more than 20 years. He comes to
Jones Lang LaSalle from CB Richard Ellis, where he was an associate
director. Prior to that, Millington worked for Regis Property Management and
Brandywine Realty Trust (formerly Prentiss Properties LTD). He is on the
Board of Directors of Fort Worth BOMA and participates on many committees.
He also is involved in Big Brothers and Sisters of America and is a Red
Cross volunteer.

the Tarrant Regional Transportation Coalition.

Westlake Academy named Shelly Myers as the new executive director of the
Westlake Academy Foundation, where she is responsible for fund raising and
coordination of fund raising-related events for Westlake Academy, a public
charter school that offer the International Baccalaureate curriculum.

Health Care

Evan Evans joined Huguley Memorial Medical Center as its medical director of
radiology.

Board-certified ophthalmologists and retina specialists Lee S. Anderson and
Cliff H. Beasley Jr. joined Texas Retina Associates in the Fort Worth
office.

Honored

Ross and Matthews P.C. of Fort Worth won the Quality Award by Pre-Paid Legal
Services.

Easter Seals North Texas honored companies and individuals at its annual
employment symposium. The honorees are:  Small Employer of the Year, Deaf
Inc. at Westchester Plaza; Medium Employer of the Year, Elite Laundry;
Large employer of the Year, Hyatt Regency DFW; Distinguished Service,
Candace Owens of AAFES; and Employee of the Year, Mary (Cathy) Martin.

Brandon Trull, owner of Perry Aslyn Photography, was honored by the
Southwest Professional Photographers of America in their annual competition.
The accolades include: Two Distinguished Prints and One Judge’s Choice
award.

Fort Worth residents Laurie Kelfer and Paulette Crumley were awarded the
Graduate Realtor Institute designation.

GCG Marketing received Best Corporate Advertisement/Campaign at the 2009
Medical Marketing & Media Awards honoring the agency’s development of an
awareness campaign for the Children’s Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation.

UT Arlington Engineering Professor Yaling Liu received a National Science
Foundation Early Career Development Award. The award provides Dr. Liu with
$404,000 over five years to develop a method for predicting the efficacy of
drug-carrying nanoparticles to a targeted area in a vascular environment.

Valleau Wilkie Jr., executive vice president of the Sid W. Richardson
Foundation, was awarded the Spirit of Giving Lifetime Achievement Award and
XTO received the fifth annual Spirit of Giving Award by Meals of Wheels of
Tarrant County.

Law

Kit Addleman, a former SEC regional director, joined Haynes and Boone LLP.

Nonprofit

Ramona Briggans joined Easter Seals North Texas as a child care inclusion
specialist.

Therolyn J. Brown is the new properties manager at The Salvation Army’s
Catherine Booth Friendship House and Evangeline Booth Friendship House
apartment buildings for low-income senior citizens in Fort Worth.

Paula Hardin joined Century 21 Lynch & Associates in its Willow Park office.
