Anna Ruth Haskin Hill, wife of Leslie C. Hill, 66, of Mathis, Texas passed
away June 30, 2010 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born September 20,
1943 to George Hamilton and Bessie (Benes) Haskins in Houston, Texas. She
lived most of her life in the Houston area. Anna was of the Christian faith.
She was always joyful, independent and supportive. Anna loved her garden,
was a great cook and a natural teacher.
She is survived by her loving husband, Leslie C. Hill of Mathis, Texas;
sister, Louise Wisley of Pearland, Texas; brother, John Hamilton Haskins of
Cambridge, Minnesota; nieces and nephews, Janice Bradley, Gene Wisley, Linda
Stewart, Kathy Stratton, Dave Haskins, Steve Haskins and Dan Haskins; and
many other relatives and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00 P.M.
to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home
Parlor, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546.
The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 2:00 P.M.
at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with The Rev. Gena Davis
officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
