Deaf Saturday Night Live Worship invites the Deaf community to come for an
evening of “Celebration and Thanksgiving” to be held at the Potter’s House
on Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 5pm to 8pm. The address is 6777 W
Kiest Blvd Dallas, Texas 75236.
This worship celebration is for, by and with the Deaf! Led by Dallas and
Fort Worth area Deaf ministries, fellowships and churches. For the past five
years, DSNL Worship has been gathering together those who are Deaf, hard of
hearing, Deaf-Blind and hearing friends & family of the Deaf to fellowship,
eat (free!) and worship together. No matter your color, culture, language,
church (or non-church), you are welcome to see what God in Christ is doing
through the gift of sign language and the Deaf community.
We serve a meal from 5pm to 5:30pm. We mix to meet new people, and then
worship in songs, skits, testimonies and prayer. We end at 8pm. At our last
DSNL Worship on August 21, Rev. Tom Hudspeth, pastor of the Deaf at Lovers
Lane UMC, preached as we hosted 226 people from different churches, and
those without a church or just looking to see what’s going on.
On December 11, we will welcome Bro. Daniel Cochran, a Deaf Evangelist, to
preach the Word. Daniel grew up in Virginia/Washington D.C. area and moved
to Dallas a year ago with his new bride, Allie. Daniel assists the Deaf
ministry at the Family Cathedral of Praise in Mesquite, Texas and will be
preaching at the River of Life Deaf Family Retreat next April.
We welcome skits, testimonies & songs that relate to giving thanks to God
and celebrating how God has blessed our lives and the Deaf community.

song, skit or testimony is Dec. 4th. (Any additional songs, skits or
testimonies will be accepted only if there is a cancellation by another
ministry or individual).
