Fear not! We have workshop for you to do that! We will show you how to get
apps on your iphone, Android, and other smartphone! Bring your phones over
and learn how to get some apps! You can download popular Apps such as: P3,
Z4, nTouch, games (Such as Angry Birds, Words with friends, etc.) and many
more!

House specialist, Troy Myree and Darla Connor from HCIL will explain about
how to get affordable housing through various programs such as HUD, Section
8, Senior Citizen housing, etc. You can file for affordable housing and
understand the process of getting it. You can get better deals though
programs.

with coupons and smart ways to keep up you and your family fills with foods
for WHOLE month! You can save money with coupons and not have to worry about
waiting for your SSI/SSDI to arrive next month! Yes, you can use food stamp
(Lone Star) with coupon!

Classes / Workshops / Events (Summary)
Summer Semester Schedule 2011
1. New Life Deaf Recovery: A faith based 12-step program specifically
designed for culturally Deaf who struggle with addiction. New Life Deaf
Recovery focuses on making real life changes through the power of God, based
on Biblical principles.
2. Friday Night Movie: We will be showing powerful entertaining movies on
2nd Fridays of month at 6pm. Snacks, drink, and supper will be served!
After each movie, you can stay and chat/discuss the movie.
3. Sign Language class: We offer classes to those who want to learn ASL or
even to refresh your ASL knowledge every Thursday evening at 6:30pm till
8:30pm. The evening fee is $50.
4. English and Math Class: You can improve your English and Math skills
every Monday from 1pm
to 3pm. No classes on July 4th, 11th and 25th.
5. Housing Workshop: You can learn how to gather information on how to get
affordable housing through programs such as HUD, Section 8, Senior Citizen
housing, etc, and understand the process. Thursday, June 16th from 1pm to
3pm
6. ADA Workshop: You can understand more about ADA law, amendments, etc.
Saturday, June 25th, July 30th, and August 27 from 3pm to 5pm.
7. Apps Workshop: You can learn how to get Apps on your Smartphones such as
iPhone, Android, and other Smartphones. Tuesday, June 21st from 6:30pm to
8:30pm and Tuesday, July 12th from 2pm to 4pm.
8. Health & Exercise: You can learn how to manage your healthy food and do
simple exercise that you can do at home. Tuesday, June 21st from 10am to
12:30pm, Tuesday, July 19th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, Tuesday, August 23rd from
10am to 12:30pm.
9. Coupon Workshop: You can learn how to use coupons and save money for
foods and other things. Sunday, June 26th from 2pm to 4pm.
10. Food and Clothing Services: Food and clothes provided to the deaf
community as needed. Service open Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 10:00am
and Sunday after the morning worship service (12:00 noon)
11. Computer Repair: Hafiz Martowidjojo will provide services to those who
