ASL Certified Tax Preparer Wanted – Houston
Tax Season is quickly approaching. The City of Houston’s Mayor’s Office for
People with Disabilities and the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) are
partnering to provide free tax for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. In order
for this be successful, we need volunteers! Volunteers are asked to be
fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate with the deaf and hard
of hearing tax payers. The volunteers are asked to participate in tax
training course and pass the certification exam to become certified tax
preparers.

Date: Wednesday and Thursday, January 18th and 19th, 2012
