AARP Driving Safety Program (DSP) for Deaf Drivers age 50+
DRIVING SAFETY PROGRAM (DSP)-AARP
WHY TAKE A DRIVER SAFETY COURSE?
Because driving has changed since you first got your license, and doing so could save you money AND save your life too!
* Cars have changed. So have traffic rules, driving conditions and the roads you travel every day.
* Some drivers age 50+ have never looked back since they first got their first driver’s licenses, but even the most experienced drivers can benefit from brushing up on their driving skills.
* By taking a driver safety course, you’ll learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate your vehicles more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment. You will learn how to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time.
* Some automobile insurance companies offer 10% discount for Senior Drivers with their DSP certificates.
* A book: AARP DRIVER SAFETY PROGRAM, the Nation’s First and Largest Classroom Refresher for Motorists age 50 and Older: will be provided.
