“Sink or Swim 2”

May 21-22, 2013 (Tue and Wed)

At Tyler Junior College

BUILD CONFIDENCE * INTERPRETING, TRANSLITERATING, SIGHT

TRANSLATION AND VOICING * FUN ACTIVITIES

Just want a short immersion experience in a safe environment? . . . Join Us!

(Space is limited to 40) Deadline May 10, 2013. Early Bird by May 1st.

* Mini-Workshops (ASL Interpreting, Transliterating, Sight Translation, Voicing and MORE)
* Tue Afternoon Includes: ASL Games for Skill Development; Recording in ASL Lab (Voicing) to be used Wed.; Meet with Deaf Community and enjoy pizza from the local pizza restaurant (included in the cost) and Movie – Title TBD
* Wed: Enjoy more fun mini-workshops and groups of 5 peer/self eval of voicing recordings.
* Goody Bag & T-Shirt included in cost.
* Tentative Presenters: Leyel Hudson, TJC Faculty and Staff and other facilitators.

You will be responsible for travel, lodging and meals (except Tue night meal)

**Bring a flash-drive to save your voicing recording**

Before May 1 – $60.00
After May 1 (By May 10) – $75.00

Graduates of ITP or those testing for Basic get first consideration; If room, students in their last year with advanced skills may be accepted. Have your ITP director contact me.
