Once again, the Houston Bass Club of the Deaf, Inc. (HBCD) will be hosting the 3rd Jr. Anglers Tournament on April 4, 2015 to be held at Mary Peckham Park in Katy, TX. Annually, HBCD host this event to give to the kids from 2 to 17 years of age the “taste” and “experience” of catching fish at the park and bring in for weigh in. It does not matter what size you catch or what kind of fish you reel in but the fun part is of the weight. You will win prizes in 3 different age categories as well plaques. Refer to our website, www.hbcd1968.org and hit the tab on your left “HBCD Events” and print out all forms, rules and memos. This is a free sponsored event that has been contributed by corporations and organizations. Lunch will be served for all. If interested, please print out and fill the application forms and bring it to the park with you. The kids will get all items such as shirt and othe gadgets. HBCD is a 501c3 non profit organization founded in 1968 to promote education, social and sportsmanship to the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Bass anglers through local, state and national level of Bass Tournament.
This tournament is ONLY for kids that are tied to the deaf/hard of hearing communities such as Deaf, HH, Deaf-Blind, CODA, Interpreters, Grandparents and Parents. Make way to plan to attend.
