Workshop/Course Description: A general review of the CPC (and TX CPC for Court Interpreters) and how to make reasonable decisions in situations that call for “considerations” in role and task of the interpreter and how
those decisions effect stakeholders. Introduction to ethical principles (i.e. Kohlberg’s stages) and conversations that
draw out self-reflection and how to apply oneself to the needs (i.e. Demand-Control Schema) at any given moment.
