Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services Announces 2016 Alliances Helping Employers Achieve Diversity (AHEAD) Symposium & Job Fair
AHEAD Job Fair and Symposium Links Job Seekers and Employers
Austin—Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) will partner to host 2016 Alliances Helping Employers Achieve Diversity (AHEAD) Symposium & Job Fair. The event will be held Friday, January 29, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.DARS is partnering with the United States Department of Labor Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program, Workforce Solutions Capital Area, Independent Living Experience, and the Education Service Center Region 13 to educate employers on recruiting, hiring, and retaining people with disabilities and to link job seekers with disabilities with employers.
DARS works in partnership with Texans with disabilities and families with children who have developmental delays to improve the quality of their lives and to enable their full participation in society.
