Opening Minds, Opening Doors: Preparing a Powerful Story for Presentation – Austin

The application deadline for the new Opening Minds, Opening Doors class in Austin has been extended to March 7th. This program is FREE and a great opportunity for self-advocates to become stronger writers, develop public speaking skills, and present their stories at conferences around the state. Opening Minds, Opening Doors: Preparing a Powerful Story for Presentation

Six Saturdays, April 2nd – May 7th, 1:00-4:00pm

In this class, each participant will write a personal story and develop the presentation skills needed to deliver it in public. Dr. Chris Strickling, director of Actual Lives Austin, will instruct this class. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
