National Deaf People of Color Conference. July 21-24, 2016. Texas School for the Deaf. Beyond Lens: Intersectional Identities. National Deaf People of Color is hosting a fourth Triennial National Conference at Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, TX from July 21 to 24, 2016. The conference focuses on strengthening the educational, cultural, social, civil, and economic advancement of deaf/ hard of hearing people of color and the importance of continuing their education as a means of empowerment.
