Amelia Manor Nursing Home: Help Wanted!
As for the enjoyable recreation for the Amelia Manor Nursing Home has the largest incident of deaf and deafblind residents in the State of Louisiana, we are planning to take a field trip touring into the Tabasco Factory in Avery Island on Tuesday morning, November 22nd. Therefore, we are heavily in need of devoted volunteers to help out; as follows:
* Guide deaf/deafblind residents
* Push wheelchairs
* Tactile-interpret deafblind residents
If interested, I can be reached by email at [email protected] or by phone at (337) 2035-2612 no later than Friday, November 11th so I’d have a chance to arrange the head count of volunteers ahead of time for a FREE lunch. Your interest in being a volunteer is greatly appreciated and will help deaf and deafblind residents to be much happier by reducing their isolation.
Look forward to hearing from you soon and in advance, thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Dan Arabie, Case Manager
