Deaf people and Interpreters both have a responsibility to support and encourage those in the Interpreting Profession. What happens when a perceived conflict arises? All involved in the situation, Deaf and Hearing, should show respect for each other while trying to resolve conflicts in the profession. This requires acting in an ethical way as well. Conflict resolution can bridge the gap between the Deaf and Interpreting Communities.
