Job Description:
Work under the direction of the Director for the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (ODHHS). Perform highly complex (senior-level) administrative and supervisory program work administering the daily operations and activities for the Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) Program operations. Oversee the development and implementation of techniques for evaluating business functions. Establish staff development plans and activities. Direct the planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of policies and procedures. Coordinate and evaluate business functions and department activities, and implement efficient solutions. Develop and evaluate budget requests. Manage business continuity and process improvement. Represent the Office at meetings, trials, conferences, and seminars. Provides expertise and leadership in the daily operations and long term planning of the functions performed in the BEI program. Plan, assign, and supervise the work of others. Work under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
