With athletics in residential, mainstreamed settings as well as in colleges, universities, as well as in Deaf athletics such as local, national and international levels (American Athletic Association of the Deaf (AAAD, Deaf Olympics, etc.), it is critically important that interpreters or anyone involved with the Deaf athlete(s) communicate effectively well using sport signs in ASL.
