Texas ASL Educators: Volunteer Wanted – Denton
Our organization, Texas ASL Educators, is organizing a statewide workshop for ASL Teachers on Monday, July 22, 2019 to Wednesday, July 24, 2019. We are anticipating for the participation of all the distinguished ASL educators’ and expecting around 80 – 100 people to participate.
It will be our privilege if the students of your interpreter training program volunteer for the workshop and help out with the errands at the workshop. Volunteering at the workshop only requires a few hours, and is a great way to meet the ASL Teacher community, learn more about ASL, and also improve their ASL skills.
I appeal to you to encourage your students to come forward and help us in a big way as this is a major event we will not be able to organize well without the help of volunteers. If you have any students or people interested in volunteering for this Texas ASL Educators workshop this summer, could you direct them to fill out this Google Form (which can be found at
