Developing Healthy Social-Emotional Gains in Youth who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
This webinar is intended for educators, professionals, community members and parents/guardians involved with students within the K-12 age range.
For youth who are deaf or hard of hearing, having an understanding of their communication, social, and emotional needs is critical in order to support their mental well-being, and sets the foundation for success at home and school.
In this webinar, we will examine the cause and effect of different social and daily scenarios, their impact on a child who is deaf or hard of hearing, and we offer tips – both from personal and professional experience – for encouraging the healthy social-emotional development of a child who is deaf or hard of hearing.
