FIRST ANNUAL AWARENESS WALK FOR DEAF & HARD OF HEARING

Region One Education Service Center 1900 W Schunior St, Edinburg, TX 78541

Event for families with kids who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing and open to the public. Please request communication accommodation needs at least 7 days in advance of the event by contacting Paulina Pena [email protected]. Every reasonable effort will be made to provide accommodations. ASL-to-voice/voice-to-ASL interpreter will be present all day.

We will have lots of fun activities that include a one mile walk with special prizes for all participants, face painting, photo booth, live music, a food truck and movie showings. There will be door prizes and giveaways that include food baskets, gift cards to local stores and more! Come and spend the day with us enjoying the fun activities as well as meeting a host of local providers and gather resources from Driscoll Hospital, Region One ESC/Early Childhood Intervention, Easter Seals, UTRGV Audiologists, UTRGV ASLI staff, McAllen ISD, STC, Region One ESC and more!
