Full-Time ASL/English Interpreting Instructor
Tarrant County College The Sign Language Interpreting Program at Tarrant County College has an opening for a Full-Time ASL/English Interpreting Instructor to join our continually growing and successful program. TCC is proud to be nationally accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Interpreter Education, and located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, Texas on the beautiful Trinity River campus.
We are seeking applicants with a zeal to develop the necessary ASL/English linguistic skills, interpreting techniques, and soft skills to work in a variety of business and industry settings, all within a secure context of respect for the Deaf Community. Candidates must hold a current BEI Advanced Level Certificate or higher, BEI Intermediary Certificate, or RID certification, hold a minimum of a Bachelor degree or higher in a related field, and have a minimum of three years’ experience in the field of interpreting. This is an on-site instructional position.
