DFW Deaf Kid Connect 5K
Date: Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
We along with multiple Deaf ministries in the DFW area are hosting a charity 5k in the Dallas/Ft. Worth in partnership with Deaf Kid Connect to support their ministry to develop resources and a community for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children and their families and loved ones.
The 5k will start at the Oakland Lake Park Pavilion at the address starting at 10AM. No DST!!
We will have food and drink after the race, so, please come and hang out with us after the race! If you plan on joining us after the race, we encourage you to bring food or drinks to share with everyone else!

- Registration is $30 per person.
- Sponsorship is however how much you feel called to donate and is a good option for families and groups or if the registration fee is not feasible for you.

Please note several important bullet-points.
- This is a charity 5k, meaning that we will not have divisions nor will we have prizes for the top finishers. The prize is to support our children and youths.
- You are welcome to complete the 5k at your own pace, location or whenever you want during the month of September, but we will be hosting an in-person event to allow for community and support.
- Running, walking, strollers with kids or biking are all fine!
- Please understand that if you participate in the 5k, you do this at your own risk. However, we have ensured that the trail is suitable for everyone.
