Service Animal & ESA Research Project at TIRR Memorial Hermann
I’m Jocelyne Fajardo, a research assistant with ILRU at TIRR Memorial Hermann.
We are currently conducting a research study in order to understand how workers with disabilities are using animals to assist them, their experiences and any barriers they may encounter at work, and determine what factors contribute to successful work outcomes. The EEOC does not have any explicit regulations addressing the type of animal that can be in the workplace, so as a result, we are looking for workers with service animals and workers with emotional support animals.
We would truly appreciate your assistance in disseminating information about our upcoming interviews for this research study. Participants are compensated with a 25$ gift card for their time. If you have any referrals or recommendations to a good candidate for the interview, please send our information forward.
I have attached information about the interview process in this email, as well as our flyer for the project and IRB letter. Please let me know if you would like to meet and ask any additional questions you may have.
