TSD: Rangers Got Talent! Fundraising #DeafTalent

On behalf of the Texas School for the Deaf ‘s, we are writing to invite your support of our “Rangers Got Talent!” show being held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in the TSD auditorium. This year’s show will feature over 30 students from Elementary through high school. We will have two different groups of performers. One group will be the contestants to compete for prizes. The other group will be giving a variety show and those performers are from the outside of the community to entertain us. We want to expose our students about #DeafTalent and to show that our local Deaf community has talents too!

To be able to give our contestants prizes, to show our participators our appreciation for volunteering their time to entertain us, and for our judges for being part of our show, we need YOUR help! Since our department relies on the generosity of individuals like you, we write to ask you to consider a donation for our event. Your business can help us by providing financial support and/or by donating goods. In a short time, our goal is to raise money for refreshments for our performers, volunteers, prizes, ‘thank you’ gifts, etc. We would like to give out up to $25.00 gifts.

We strive for our students to have their chance to shine on stage with their talents! In exchange, we will acknowledge your business/logo in our brochure to show our appreciations for your donations.

Contributions should be sent to Texas School for the Deaf, attn.: Marisa Mills and Melissa Garrison. 1102 South Congress Ave. Austin, Texas 78704. Please make checks payable to: Texas School for the Deaf. In the memo, please write, “Rangers got Talent”.

If you have any questions or concern, feel free to contact us at [email protected] or call us at 717-283-4231.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Truly yours,

The Co-host of the talent show;
Marisa Mills and Melissa Garrison
