I’ve been fostering several wonderful hearing/vision impaired Aussies in central Texas who are in need of permanent homes!
* Comet (formerly called “Snow”) is a year-old deaf red merle/lethal white boy. On the smaller side, he needs an older dog as a mentor (Rescued from shelter in 1/06).

* Luci is a precious deaf, blue merle/white girl who wandered up to a caring home as a puppy, and the family kept her. Sadly, a year later, Luci needs a new home as she and her Corgi brother are not getting along (5/06).

** NEEDS NEW FOSTER/permanent home** Possum (REFERRAL) is a “mini” deaf and blind blue merle/white girl who suffered an injury to her hip and knee (Aug. 2006) that will require extensive surgery (Rescued @ 5 weeks, 8/05; she just turned a year old in foster care.)

* Cameron is a two year old deaf white/blue merle female who was rescued from a local shelter, adopted last year, and recently returned to rescue. We think she is an Aussie/Catahoula mix.(Adopted 11/05, returned 7/06).

** NEEDS NEW FOSTER/permanent home** Feliz is a 3-1/2 yr. old Jack Russell/Aussie mix. She is deaf and missing an eye due to a car accident when she was a pup. She recently completed 4 weeks of board-and-train in an effort to increase her socialization, obedience training, and adoptability.
