December Deaf Community Mass for the Catholic Deaf Community
The Catholic Deaf Community of Fort Worth announces its monthly Deaf Community Mass to be held on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at 1:30 PM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 Wildwood Lane, Grapevine, TX 76051 (go to: www.stfrancisgrapevine.org for a map and directions) Fr. Ken Robinson will celebrate this mass in sign and voice. Choir members will gather in the dining room at 12:15 to practice their songs.
After mass everyone is invited to stay for our early Christmas Dinner: turkey with all the trimmings. Cost: $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for children under five. Everyone is asked to bring a vegetable or fruit side dish to share as part of this potluck dinner. There will also be a Silent Raffle (tickets: 25 cents each) with plenty of Christmas Gifts to win.
